Wien im Rosenstolz 2008 – Martin Melcher

Until 31st October legends and newcomers of the “Wienerlied” scene get
together at the “Konzert-Cafe Schmid Hansl” in order to celebrate what
is almost unknown beyond Austria’s or even Vienna’s borders. Modern
lyrics on traditional tunes, jazzy improvisation and bold
interpretations of standards prove that Viennese folk is live and
kicking.
