Cakes – Martin Melcher

I am not going to say that Vienna is the only place on earth where you
can get good cakes but certainly a very good one. After coming to
Vienna for the first time after 9 years, one of the first things I did
was walk straight into Demel and order my favourite seasonal treat,  a
slice of ‘Maronentorte’.  Having done a lot of food photography
recently, I initially wanted to take a nice shot of my cake but for
unexplainable reason that did not happen… maybe I should have
ordered a second slice.
